Elk Ridge Campground is located in the Nile Valley. Elk Ridge sits about 35 minutes northwest of Yakima, Washington on Highway 410. The campground boasts nine cabins, 20 RV sites, and a meadow for tents for those who really like to rough it. There are facilities for laundry and showers. A full theater building where they start movies around 7:30 every night. They have facilities to host parties, reunions, or weddings as well. There is a gorgeous area in the meadow set up for weddings that is utterly amazing for anyone looking to have a wedding in the mountains. The Elk Ridge store has everything you need in a pinch to help you make your trip a little more convenient.

Nature and soaking it in is the name of the game at Elk Ridge. The 2200 feet of private Naches River frontage with a great little beach is well worth the entry fee as well. During the spring months into early summer, the river is moving fairly well and can be dangerous, but great for rafters. Late summer and early fall are great months to really enjoy the river. Across the street are 4x4 trails that will lead miles and miles into the mountains. Up the road, you can head to Bumping Lake for the day and do some fishing or swimming. They are open for hunters in the winter for those venturing into the backcountry or snowmobilers that are headed out on their sleds. Elk Ridge really does offer something for everyone that needs an outdoor adventure or some relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Whether you take a ride with sissy the miniature pony on her carriage, see a movie and have popcorn in the theater, have a party, reunion, or wedding, you will encounter one of the most wonderful hosts you could ever imagine! Elk Ridge Campground has become known as being a “magical place” and that is in large part to its wonderful owners.
